The companies GWA Hygiene, Linde, QraGo, Stiegelmeyer, Virtual Twins and Westfalen are offering the first partner solutions via an interface. In addition to process solutions from simplinic , hospitals can now also access tools for locating oxygen cylinders, indoor navigation, patient transport control, hand hygiene monitoring and patient safety through bed sensors.
TheBluetooth Low Energy (BLE) device radio standard has become established worldwide, including in medical technology. Many manufacturers are networking their medical devices and upgrading them with process solutions, e.g. oxygen cylinders that can be localized throughout the hospital using a digital valve and whose fill level is displayed in the software. Sensors installed in the hospital show nursing staff at the base whether all beds are in the lowest position at night to prevent falls or whether the bed is occupied. Innovative software companies such as Archkomm, GWA Hygiene or QraGo rely on Bluetooth components to offer indoor navigation, monitor hand hygiene compliance or automatically document the handover of patients to transport. Hospitals can use their fleet of devices much more efficiently or automate processes with a Bluetooth network.
