In the hospital, patient transport was previously organized via a telephone switchboard. This led to long queues, dissatisfaction and high staff costs, without clear data to measure performance. The lack of transparency and process reliability made optimization necessary.
The patient transport module went live in the hospital via the cloud in just three days. The processes were continuously improved on the basis of the simplinic DataCenter. Using mathematics from queueing theory, which is part of the shift plan optimization module, the staffing requirements for a punctuality rate of 90% were calculated and optimally adapted to the requirements of the wards and functional areas.
