Tobias Meixner (47) will join the management team at simplinic GmbH in October 2019. The hospital manager will be responsible for the business development, compliance and HR divisions at the Berlin-based hospital IoT provider. The hospital and digitalization expert will continue to drive the company's growth.
Berlin-based simplinic GmbH is a leading provider of Bluetooth-based asset tracking in hospitals. The software modules support the localization of all kinds of medical devices and aids as well as the reading of medical device data. Tobias Meixner is to create the regulatory conditions for the expansion of the product range and thus open up further growth opportunities for simplinic . He will assume responsibility for business development, compliance and human resources on the management board.
Tobias Meixner was initially an eBusiness strategy consultant at Pixelpark AG before working for Helios Kliniken for almost 15 years. In addition to heading up corporate communications, he was Managing Director of the clinic and initiated the first start-up accelerator program of a clinic chain in 2015. Before his sabbatical, he was Managing Director of smart Helios GmbH. "I was able to accompany many teams, hardly anyone was able to provide hospitals with such concrete, measurable benefits as simplinic. I am certain that IoT applications will profoundly change medical care. Doctors and nursing staff will be relieved of coordination activities in unimagined dimensions," says Tobias Meixner about his motives for joining simplinic .
